About Kham

Kham is a Kuwait fabric house. We import cloth for the dishdasha directly from the mills that have supplied the Gulf for generations, and we sell it by the meter — cut to the length you take to your tailor.

What we carry

Our summer range comes from Japan, Italy and Switzerland, alongside pure linen. Our winter range is English and Italian wool and Indian wool. We also carry a full shemagh collection.

Everything is sold unstitched, in cuts of 3, 3.5 and 4 meters.

How we describe fabric

Most fabric shops give you a name and a price. We publish the two things a tailor actually asks about, on every product page:

  • Weight — from Light to Heavy. Lighter cloth breathes better in Kuwait’s summer; heavier cloth holds a sharper line and suits winter and formal wear.
  • Stance — Relaxed, Quarter, Third or Half. This is how the cloth falls: a relaxed stance drapes softly, a half stance stands away from the body and holds its shape.

You can filter the whole collection by both, so you can find cloth by how it will behave rather than by guessing from a photograph.

We also list composition and transparency on every fabric, because a non-sheer cloth and a semi-sheer cloth are not the same purchase.

Getting your order

We deliver next day across Kuwait, and ship to Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Qatar, Bahrain, Oman and Iraq within 5–7 business days with tracking on every shipment.
