Choosing fabric

How many metres do I need?

Available cuts:

  • Every fabric: 3, 3.5 and 4 metres
  • Pure Linen: also 2 and 2.5 metres
  • Some fabrics: also sold as a pack of 25 yards

The right length depends on your height, your build and how your tailor cuts. To find yours:

  • Use the “How many metres do I need?” calculator on any fabric page
  • Send us your height on WhatsApp
  • Ask your tailor

How does the metre calculator work?

Every fabric page has a “How many metres do I need?” calculator. Enter your height, and your weight if you wish, and it suggests:

  • Up to 165 cm: 3 m
  • 166–180 cm: 3.5 m
  • Over 180 cm: 4 m
  • 100 kg or more: 0.5 m extra, never more than 4 m in total

It is an estimate; your tailor has the final say.

Do you offer tailoring?

We do not offer tailoring or sewing. Choose your fabric and length here, then take it to your own tailor.

What does “Weight” mean?

Weight runs from Light to Heavy and shows how substantial the cloth is.

  • Lighter weights: suit Kuwait’s summer
  • Heavier weights: hold a sharper line and suit winter and formal wear

What does “Stance” mean?

Stance describes how the cloth falls on the body, in three grades:

  • Quarter: drapes softly against the body
  • Third: sits between Quarter and Half
  • Half: stands away from the body and holds its shape

You can filter our summer fabrics by weight and stance together to find the handle you want.

Is the fabric see-through?

Each of our summer fabric pages states whether the cloth is non-sheer or semi-sheer, along with its exact composition.

  • Check this before you order, particularly on lighter weights
  • If a page does not show it, ask us on WhatsApp

Do you send fabric samples?

We do not send samples at present. To see and feel the cloth before you buy, visit either of our branches:

  • Fahad Al-Salem St branch (Sanam Tower, Al-Qibla)
  • Blockat branch (Mubarak Al-Kabeer St)

You can also message us on WhatsApp and we will help you choose.

How do I choose my shemagh size?

The size we suggest depends on your height, and our shemagh size guide shows the right size for each height.

  • Most of our shemagh: 55, 58 and 60
  • Phantom Red: 52, 55 and 58
  • Between sizes: message us on WhatsApp

Delivery

How long does delivery take in Kuwait?

We deliver the next day to all areas.

  • Orders placed before 5:00 PM are processed the same day
  • Delivery days are Sunday to Thursday, except public holidays

Do you ship outside Kuwait?

Yes, we ship to:

  • Saudi Arabia
  • UAE
  • Qatar
  • Bahrain
  • Oman

GCC orders arrive within 5–7 working days, and every shipment is tracked.

How much is shipping?

  • Within Kuwait: 2.000 KWD.
  • Other countries: the rate is calculated at checkout once you enter your address.
  • Duties and taxes: for orders outside Kuwait, customs duties, VAT and import fees are set by the destination country and may be collected by the courier on delivery.

Can I collect my order from a branch?

Yes, from our Blockat branch (Mubarak Al-Kabeer St), the only branch for order pickup.

  • Choose pickup at checkout.
  • We will message you once your order is ready, usually within 24 hours.
  • Please bring your order number.
  • Pickup hours: Saturday to Thursday 9 AM–10 PM, Friday 4–10 PM.

Payment

Which payment methods do you accept?

We accept:

  • K-NET
  • Visa and Mastercard
  • Apple Pay and Google Pay
  • Instalments with Deema

All payments are made online when you order; we do not offer cash on delivery. You pay through our secure payment provider and then return to the store. Every transaction is encrypted.

Can I pay in instalments?

Yes. Choose Deema at checkout to split your order into 3 or 4 interest-free payments.

Which currency will I be charged in?

All orders are charged in Kuwaiti dinar (KWD).

  • Prices shown in another GCC currency are a live conversion, for reference only.
  • Your bank converts the amount at its own rate.

Gifts

Can I add a gift box?

Yes. Select “Add a gift box” on the fabric page.

  • Each box costs 3.000 KWD.
  • Each box holds one fabric only, so add a box for every fabric you are giving.
  • Gift boxes cannot be returned.

How do gift cards work?

Our gift cards are electronic.

  • Sent by email straight after payment.
  • Redeemed at checkout on our website.
  • Any unused balance stays on the card for your next order.
  • Non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash.

Returns and exchanges

Can I return or exchange an item?

Yes, within 14 days of delivery, provided that:

  • Fabric is uncut, unwashed, unaltered and in its original packaging.
  • A shemagh is unworn, with its tags.

We do not accept returns of the following unless they are defective or not what you ordered:

  • Cut or sewn fabric
  • Gift cards
  • Gift boxes
  • Final-sale items

How do I return an item?

Message us on WhatsApp or at info@trykham.com with your order number, then:

  • Bring it to either branch: Blockat or Fahad Al-Salem St.
  • Or we collect it: anywhere in Kuwait for 2.000 KWD, deducted from your refund; free if the item is defective or not what you ordered.

How long does a refund take?

We refund the amount to your original payment method within 3 working days of receiving and checking the item.

  • Your bank may take 7–14 working days to show it.
  • Orders paid with Deema are refunded through Deema.

Visiting us

Do you have physical branches?

Yes, we have two branches in Kuwait City.

  • Fahad Al-Salem St (Sanam Tower, Al-Qibla): Saturday to Thursday 10 AM–2 PM and 4–10 PM, Friday 4–10 PM.
  • Blockat (Mubarak Al-Kabeer St): Saturday to Thursday 9 AM–10 PM, Friday 4–10 PM. This is our only branch for order pickup.
